Salzkammergut makes you think about wonderful lakes that are beautifully embedded in the mountain world and generate a sense of postcard flair. And you can also go mountain biking here! Discover tours in all difficulty levels with well-developed forest paths to mountain pastures, summits and, of course, lakes.
As well as the annual Salzkammergut Trophy, an active biking community is also helping to enhance the appeal of the biking region in Upper Austria. Great trails such as the BergeSeen eTrail also run through the region and are like a magnet for bikers.

My guide team and I look after the bike requirements of our guests. We accompany you on guided tours or can always provide insider tips if you want to go on a tour alone.
Franz has been a certified mountain bike instructor for 15 years. He is also a physio and mental sports trainer and has been running the eBikeAcademy in Hof bei Salzburg for two years. In the winter months, he works as a certified ski trainer – “my second hobby” – but you’ll find him on his bike as soon as the snow starts to melt. “I want to educate people so that they feel secure on their bike and can travel safely.”
I am not and will never be a top biker but I know the entire region like the back of my hand! I am happy to share my experiences, tips and news from the Salzkammergut and concentrate mainly on the well-being of my guests at the hotel.
